2007 Photography Challenge
These shrimp boats are right next to my parents house. I feel very sentimental about them.
They say everything about where I grew up. The waterway, the south, buying dinner from my neighbors.
I cheated! Shot in automatic on DRebel XTI with the 28-80mm Tameron. I didn't know what to do with the bright morning sun.

This is such a pretty photo! Must have been taken in the early morning to get that nice soft glow. It's just beautiful. . . good reason to skip doing your chores. LOL :O)

Very pretty! Sometimes you've gotta do auto when you don't know what settings to use. I was guilty of that yesterday!

I wouldn't consider it cheating. Sometimes that's the best way to learn. I like the lighting in this shot. I agree with everyone else about straightening the horizon. Good job finding an interesting subject.

and i dont think "auto" is cheating- certainly not anything to feel bad for!
nice shot. wish i could see it larger but wasn't able to. as jen mentioned, do pay attention to your horizon, or if you forget, you can always fix it in ps. keep up the good work!
